Thank you for booking with Naija Food Tour (“we,” “us,” “our”). We’re committed to providing enjoyable and authentic food and cultural experiences across Nigeria.
This Refund & Returns Policy explains our procedures regarding cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds for bookings made through our website www.naijafoodtour.com.
By booking a tour with us, you agree to this policy.
1. Nature of Our Services
Naija Food Tour provides intangible travel and culinary experiences, not physical goods. Therefore, this policy refers to service cancellations and refunds, not product returns.
2. Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed once:
- Full or partial payment has been received, and
- You receive a booking confirmation email from Naija Food Tour.
All bookings are subject to availability and are non-transferable unless otherwise stated.
3. Cancellation by the Customer
We understand that plans can change. If you wish to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing via hello@naijafoodtour.com.
Our cancellation and refund terms are as follows:

All refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–14 business days after approval.
4. Rescheduling Requests
If you would like to change your tour date:
- You must request rescheduling at least 3 days before the original tour date.
- We will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability.
- If rescheduling is not possible, standard cancellation rules (Section 3) will apply.
5. Cancellation by Naija Food Tour
We may need to cancel or postpone a tour due to circumstances beyond our control, including:
- Severe weather or unsafe conditions
- Political unrest or public safety concerns
- Insufficient bookings
- Force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions)
In such cases, you will be offered one of the following options:
- Rescheduling to a later date, or
- A full refund of all payments made.
Naija Food Tour shall not be liable for any additional costs incurred by you (e.g., travel, accommodation, or visa expenses).
6. Refund Method
Approved refunds will be:
- Processed through the same payment method used for the original transaction;
- Returned within 7–14 business days (depending on your bank or payment processor); and
- Accompanied by a confirmation email once completed.
7. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Late arrivals or no-shows;
- Participants removed from a tour for inappropriate or unsafe behaviour;
- Failure to comply with our participation requirements (e.g., providing ID, safety instructions);
- Situations outside our control (e.g., delays caused by traffic, vendor closures, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our management).
8. Gift Cards or Promotional Offers
- Gift cards, promo codes, or discounted bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- They may, however, be eligible for rescheduling at our discretion.
